None of this is real, it is all part of a game called Spur Sim.
Buckthorn Farms has only recently entered the modern equestrian world. Our focus is on working horses in both farm and ranch work. We look to blend our lines in the future to provide versatile horses that combine the strengths of both horse types for a modern approach to the working horse.
Our farm has a history of using teams of horses to harvest our fields, which exist on steep hills that were not easily accessible by machinery until the mid-20th century. While “hay-powered” harvesting may no longer be efficient, we believe in preserving the tradition and excellence of the farm draught horse, which is known for an excellent temperament, exceptional strength, and willingness to work.

While Buckthorn Farms has traditionally focused on crops, it has diversified in the past few decades to make life on the homestead easier. Ranch horses are sharp-minded, with a good herding sense and excellent agility and adaptability for working around the property and in managing livestock.
